Underwater Predator is a new homebrew game for the Atari 2600 by Atari Age member ThatDude (A.K.A. Declan Hoare), this is his first ever game for the system. You are a shark swimming around underwater doing what a shark does, eat other fish! You have to eat the goldfish while avoiding black fish, which are rotten but somehow still alive and swimming (SHHH, don't question these things). Every 20 points, the speed of the fish increases, and although the first speed is downright boring, it quickly gets more interesting. You use the stick to move and the button to eat.

The game was created using Batari BASIC and you can download the source code for this title HERE!. Underwater Predator works perfectly with real hardware, via a flash cartridge, or with the Stella emulator. If you want to read more about the development of this game then you can do so over in the thread on Atari Age forum.
