One of the great 8-bit schoolroom adventures has finally made the jump to the Commodore Plus/4. Skool Daze has been recreated for the machine in a new free homebrew release.
The familiar school playground is here, complete with lessons, teachers, mischief and the hunt for the safe combination. The Plus/4 version also brings refreshed graphics, new music and lively sound effects.
The release is available as a free download, giving Plus/4 owners another chance to experience a classic concept rebuilt specifically for their hardware.
RVG Take: The Plus/4 scene deserves more attention, and seeing a recognised 8-bit classic receive a dedicated conversion is exactly the sort of project we want to highlight.
