The ZX Spectrum homebrew scene continues to produce new games at an impressive rate, and Wacky Robot is the latest release to catch our attention.
Created by Rob Pearmain and published by Cronosoft, the new machine-code game is available for the 16K, 48K and 128K Spectrum. It is available both as a download and as a physical cassette release.
The project also includes optional ZX Touch enhancements, giving owners with the appropriate hardware another way to extend the experience.
RVG Take: Wacky Robot is a great example of the Spectrum scene’s continuing appeal: simple hardware targets, original games and developers still producing physical releases decades after the machine first arrived.
