Well at least your user name fits!

Yep, NES games are out but I can still use the Atari 2600 and 7800 joysticks.

Just saw this video. What do you all think?  The reality is that things are going crazy not just for the NES but for other systems as well.

Collecting has been going this way for many years..

Own: Jaguar, Lynx, Dreamcast, Saturn, MegaDrive, MegaCD, 32X, GameGear, PS3, PS, PSP, Wii, GameCube, N64, DS, GBA, GBC, GBP, GB,  Xbox, 3DO, CDi,  WonderSwan, WonderSwan Colour NGPC

He makes some valid points. I think it would be cool to have a complete Nes collection but I do not ever see it happening.

I have owned Secret of Mana and Earthbound for the Snes. Knew they would never be played so I sold them. Also sold some Sega CD games to buy some Saturn games and controllers. I think a gamer or collector has to find that spot where they are comfortable with what they have in their collection or game library and accept that very few folks are ever able to own every game or system. Of course not including TrekMD. :71:

Give me time 2014 is just getting started, I can change. lol

I do agree with Zapiy about collecting. Just not sure if it is true collectors or buyers hoping for a higher return.

Just saw this on IGN:

http://www.analogueinteractive.com/index.php/analogue-nt

Analogue Interactive, who are the guys who make the wooden NeoGeo MVS systems, have a brand new NES/Famicon coming out! According to their website they have re-engineered the system and it will not be emulation based like all the other clones out there, and will have vastly improved sound and video output. No price has been listed yet (seeing how much they charge for their MVS systems I'm guessing it won't be cheap!) but they're supposed to have more details by the end of the month. Love seeing stuff like this  :113:

TrekMD

That's pretty interesting because it does not involve emulation, so this should work flawlessly with any game.
