Sounds like this has been in the works for a while now and according to a number of Chinese websites the deal is done.

At the bottom of the story is three sources, and if you use translate they are all saying the same thing. Also according to the one site they are going to be dropping the Playmore from the name and will be known as SNK again.

To me this sounds like good news so hopefully it all works out. Playmore has done hardly anything with the brand, other than a few mobile games and the commercial disaster that was the Neo Geo X. So many great IP's that need to be rebooted, and using  the “Marvel formula” like it says in the article sounds like a great idea!
