To our Dearest A-Fans follower,

My name is Phil and some weeks ago my friends and I started to talk about our Amiga years. We do all still own our A1200 of course, but I must say mine aged quite badly. Last week we’ve started to raise the issues we currently have. The one issue that obviously came first, is that after so many years of service our casings are all super yellowed. Beside the color, mine is also having cracks and holes. Seems I was not so careful in my young age. We need new cases! Not used one… New pressed cases, smelling the good new plastic we all remembered while opening this A1200 box under the Christmas tree!

So the idea came to buy new cases for our A1200 to be young again. But beside ebay where we can find used and partially yellowed cases too sometimes… There is not much other places to go! Then from “buying” idea we shifted to “create new cases”, as we saw a previous Kickstarter campaign for new KS64C casings!

My friends and I are maybe IT specialists now, but we’re still kids when talking about A1200 and retrogaming. Then we started to gather infos and data about building new A1200 cases from new molds! After some days of digging, the answer was there: - It IS indeed possible to manufacture new A1200 housings!
