Most of the Software houses need to go multi platform unless they have one über impressive game like Bungie had.

Most of the Software houses need to go multi platform unless they have one über impressive game like Bungie had.

Bioware 'warned a few days ago, not to expect a huge leap on next gen platforms over what we've had this gen, due to sheer costs involved these days in making a game, so multiplatform is essentail to recoup cash poured into making a game.

Hence i think we'll see even more widespread use of Middleware tools and game engines, games looking near as damnit between say PS4/Xbox next, it'll the come down to exclusive content on platforms, per game.
