Gamers who played on the Atari ST back in the 80s and early 90s may remember the cult classic Ballerburg (so-called mother of artillery games, like Worms or Angry Birds). Played in the ST's high resolution mode there is now an almost 1:1 remake out now for iOS!

Two castles, a mountain in between, cannons, wind and limited resources and inhabitants which have to be managed.

It was tried to stay as close to the original look & feel as possible, so the subsequent Screenshot is not from the Atari ST, but indeed from the iPhone!

I thought this game on the Odyssey 2 was the mother of all artillery games.
