The Spectrum version was done by Dave "Earthworm Jim" Perry at Probe - they were the masters of getting colour graphics out of the Spectrum. I remember being very impressed by it when I was a kid.

Recal Zzap 64 giving the C64 version some glowing praise, but everyone else thinking it was vastly over-rated (ie not great on C64).

Only 8-Bit version i played was the MS game and i was playing that via the MS cart adaptor thing on the Game Gear.

Speccy version looks technically impressive (although characters have that invisible box around them.)

CPC version?good use of colour, but everything seems shrunk down, sprites etc look too small for my eyes.

C64 bloody fantastic audio, but...main sprite seems to hobble around and is suffering from yellow fever.

I was a huge player of this on the speccy back in the day. Really is impressive to see how we these games looked for such limited power.
