Midway's Blue Shark Arcade
« on: March 12, 2020, 01:08:46 AM »
Has anyone ever seen this game before?  While watching an episode of the latest episode of Atari Archive, Blue Shark was mentioned (apparently Taito didn't think they could compete with this game when they were launching Space Invaders).  I thought I'd search for it.  Have a look...

If you reach 18,000 points you will be rewarded with a free game.  In the video it is stated that you would receive extra time but that was not correct.

Yes, it does look cool.  Hard to believe they were afraid of it when Space Invaders was launched.  I do like the "decoration" on the screen to give the game some color.  :)
