Yes, that Quackshot/Castle of Illusion looks like a great find.

Every single time I get a game no matter for how long I always give them a ood cleaning with a cotton bud and isopropryl.  But the contacts on Desert Strike and Quackshot were something else, 1 swipe down (they looked clean to the eye) and there was massive clogs of black goo stuck to the tip. I must have spent a good 5 minutes just scrubbing to clean them down 

What I will say is if anyone has a nice collection of carts give them a clean with this stuff, it eats away anything from plastic and metal, evolving in minutes leaving nothing but pristine contacts behind (and no damage! Perfectly safe I've been doing it for years).

Still waiting on my console to arrive but I've been spending ages burning SegaCD games. I've no interest in collecting those so don't mind the odd copy to play the good games!

I've had to do that with many of the carts I get.  There is just lots of gunk on them but the alcohol does the trick.

I find that if I drink the alcohol I can no longer see the dirt on the contacts, get the cartridge into the slot or focus on the TV for that matter. This mitigates the issue.

This approach works well for all media types; cartridge, CD and cassette.

Nice haul by the way. Road Rash II being the pick of the bunch for me.

Hey gents it's been a long time. Apologise but work commitments took over my life and now I'm back in the land of the living. Just wanted to share this new purchase. When it arrives I'll post some better pics as it comes with its own little scratch pad lol.

Dragon Force is definitely one of the best games on the system (and one of my favorites). I only see that price going up in the future, so it's a great investment.
