Following Lairds recent visit to Bletchley MK and his Cash Converters haul, when my wife mentioned she was going to Bletchley on Friday I asked her to see what they had left. She phoned me from the store on the day I got paid and here is the result

Nice one! They certainly didn't have those ones when I was in there! If they did I would have snapped up R-Type for sure!

I just picked up a new/sealed copy of Vertical Force for the Virtual Boy. I love buying sealed retro games and ripping them open like when i was younger. Brings back such good memories.

Amen.  Games should be played, not left on a shelf to gather dust!

I visited every used video game store and pawn shop in town, looking for any TurboGrafx games I could fine.  Nothin' - but I did find a Craigslist ad.  A fellow had some extra Hucards due to a recent lot purchase, so for about $35 US I got copies of Alien Crush, Blazing Lasers, and Legendary Axe with manuals and cases.  Not anything rare but I thought it was a decent price for three of the TG16 better games.

Excellent stuff! All 3 of those games are great, especially Blazing Lazers - that is my favourite TurboGrafx game!  :16:

Definitely a good find, especially for Craig's list. Blazing Lasers alone goes for $25-$30 plus you got two other classics, Congrats!

Shadowrunner

Went into my local video game store today and bought some great retro compilations.
Taito Legends on the PS2, and Intellivision Lives and Tecmo Classic Arcade for the Xbox.
Also got the Data East Arcade Classics game for the Wii recently. Tons of great games  :113:

It's my second one. Their overall appearance and game play really defines the era.

Very nice, and you can't go wrong with Zelda on disc!

I've been after them for a while and they both were just sat there looking awesome so had to buy. To be honest there was so much good stuff. The guy was at the last revival and had good stuff. He had chrono trigger, ff's and mario rpg all boxed and clean for the SF. Had to resist lol
