Essex Retro Gaming Event

I just read about this in a local paper. A new retro gaming event will be taking place in Canvey Island, Essex on Sept 1st.  Retro Lords: 7 Generations will be taking place at the Monico Pub on Canvey Island seafront which is practically right on my doorstep as i live opposite the pub.

It is apparently being held by two chaps that regularly attend gaming events dressed as Mario and Luigi. Either way this will be my first gaming event to attend, first of many i hope.

The guys who are running this are friends of mine, I know them well.

They invited me but it's too far / too expensive / too close to Retrovision.
