Thought I'd share these pictures of my autographed carts and manuals for a few 2600 games.  I should have brought some Imagic games too!  Next time, I guess.

Thanks!  Tod Frye spoke about why he made Pac-Man as it was.  He said that no one really knew at the time that an arcade port had to look as close to the arcade as possible.  Had he known, he would have at least used black background and a blue maze but Atari always wanted games to have a colored background.  Apparently that was done to avoid phosphor burn on the screens as it happened fast with black backgrounds.  He said it would have saved him some bytes he could have used elsewhere in the game!

I actually got those carts specifically so I could get them autographed.  Cheap and easy games to get.  Halo 2600 I got free.
