Idk if you'll agree or not but when I make my own site time ago I made a section with all the highscores about  the most famous retrogames of all members. It can be a fun idea ad can bring more life to the site. I d be glad to collaborate if the thing's ok for you.

It might be the sizes and number of them. This forum is limited to one image that can't be any bigger than the one I have.

Good idea in principle. Ultimately I guess this will work better as the site grows but nothing wrong with kicking it off now.

well yeah I would surely be one of the partecipants! If we really want to get serious about it we can make competitions based off certain titles with a proof of the high score that mus be sent on one of the admins email.... Idk these are all ideas but, you re in charge!

I shall explain my project here.... I thought about it like this:

- competition: get the highest points, lower time (if on a racing game) or other depending on the game

- title of game choosen: (eg. Super mario Bros)

- expiration date (eg. "the competition ends in 1 month")

- partecipants list


NOTE: to post the score we should need a proof of it. It might sound annoying but here's the only way:

- take a photo of the screen with the high score with the date on the photo of the picture

- send it to an admin email account

- verify it

- post it

From my advice the competitions must be done NOT on emulators because we son t have control or proof to see who is cheating. We shall accept only pictures taken from a tv screen or ds, gb ecc. screens for security

• People can post their own high scores and challenge people to beat them
• From time to time we do prize games where the winner gets something cool!
• Proof can given by just posting up a photo of your high score
• If enough people participate we can have a game of the month or something like that and award point to the highest scores and create a league table.

I agree with you, we shall adjourn every week the first post of the competition so that everyone has a clear view of the high score list!
