Hello everyone!

We have a few things we would like to inform you about, firstly over the past few months some members have complained that when browsing the site they get a virus warning. This was pinned down recently to a harmless redirect code that was injected via a security issue on some software we were running. We can now confirm that somebody with Apache skills has just finished removing all presence of this and you will no longer have any issues. We would love to see those members back that stayed away whilst we had these issues.

On to the site, over the past for months we have been super busy and have vastly expanded the Reviews section.  We have added a new GameBoy reviews section (with 30 GBA reviews right now), also added a new section for the Sega Master System and that has grown as well (with around 70 games listed), updated and expanded both the Vectrex section Intellivision sections as well as new feature reviews. The NES gets some love too with 10 new reviews and there are also lots of new additions to the DOS section, PHEW!

We have done lots of new and exclusive interviews with people like Simon Phipps (Rick Dangerous and Switchblade creator). The highly successful software house Firebird Software, who also released games under the Silverbird and Rainbird labels. They were responsible for titles such as Elite, Bubble Bobble, Booty, Ghosts 'n' Goblins and many more. We also bagged an interview with Dino Dini, the creator of Kick Off, and have been celebrating the Atari Jaguar 20th Anniversary with a string of interviews involving the key people behind the machine.. So what are you waiting for come and check them out!

We have threads discussing all forms of retro goodness, if console gaming is your bag we have it, computing? yep we have that too. Nothing is left out on RVG, from LCD handheld games to Android emulation and everything in between!

Finally RVG are big supporters of the homebrew/indie scene, if your a homebrew/indie creator and want us to promote your game then why not get in touch! Or if you just want to read about the newest games for old machines then head on over to our homebrew section!
