Any Intellivision owners?

OMG I FOUND MY HOME!

Intellivision was my first console.. and basically my first video game love.  My dad was in the Navy so we were stationed in Africa when it came out.  We went to one of his friend's house who was having a pool party and I saw Space Battle.   I don't think I even touched the water that day.

I had to wait another year until we moved back to the States!  Fortunately my dad was hooked too and he picked one up soon after we got back.

I'm curious if there are any collectors here who have their Intellivision stuff on display, I'd love to see some pics.

I have posted my pictures of my entire collection in here, including what I do have for Intellivision.  I own an Intellivision II as I prefer the smaller size and more modern design of the console.  I also like the fact that the controllers are removable.

Thanks for the link!  OMG Your Vectrex collection is impressive!  I hadn't heard of the 3D glasses for it, I'll have to do some reading.

It's very cool to see you have an Intellivoice and its games, that was hot stuff back then.  An interesting piece of trivia (which you guys probably all know) is "Major League Baseball" spoke without the Intellivoice, it would say [insert robot voice here] "Yerrrrrrrrrr Out".  Marketing wasn't too happy about it because they didn't want to hurt the Intellivoice sales so no future games (afaik) were allowed to have speech.

Glad you like it!  That is indeed one great bit of trivia about Major League Baseball!  I did not know that.  Most of my carts now for the Intellivision are homebrew games since I have a CC3 with all the ROMs that are out there.  It just saves space!  LOL 

The 3D Imager is not an easy thing to get for the Vectrex and it is a very cool device.  I play very carefully with mine as I don't want to run the risk of breaking it.

No just two orig's and a 3...shit load of games for them too.

One of the advantage of the II is that you can change the controllers.  I thought I'd have a hard time with the discs, though, and I found myself adjusting to them sooner than I expected.

Yeah I had a II which really looks like a one but there were not many choices for the controllers.

The lost games guide is a monumental book (in word format) with all existing informations about all unreleased intellivision games.

Many misteries solved, 366 pages (and 350 MB) of interviews, photos, stuff, magazines, screenshots, prototypes, more than 300 never released games reviewed!

Apparently this is a second edition, which has even more information than the original version.  Doesn't seem overly costly.  If anyone lives in Rome, you can go pick it up personally!

Are these games that are actually past the design stage, ie started and on their way to release?
