It's OK. It can be a bit annoying though. If you don't get all the bomb pieces and hieroglyphs then you actually fail the game.

This happened the first time I played it. I played through the whole thing, beat the end boss and didn't get an ending so I had to do it all over again.

Can't say I would really recommend it. The music got on my nerves at times too.

It's something to do. It wasn't too bad the first time round. Not getting an ending screen bothered me so I re-played it. I like to finish games.

Heh, fair enough. I like to complete games but tend to not bother with the more average ones.

Sticking with the Turbografx theme this weekend I played some Klax on it today.

It's a great version but I prefer it on the Lynx

Well let's see...
First I fired up the Neo Geo CD and played Mutation Nation, Samurai Shodown, Viewpoint, Ghost Pilots, and Magical Drop 2.
Then I switched to the Atari 7800 and played Super Cobra, Ms. Pacman, Xevious, Asteroids, Food Fight, and Donkey Kong.

It was a busy day  :4:

Last night I was playing Phoenix on the 2600 and this morning I fired up the 3DO version of Gex and lost myself in that for a while. Gex on the 3DO was more fun than I remembered it being on the Playstation but it's probably just the excitement of the 3DO.  :10:

Have got back into Yoshi's Island (SNES version). I'm trying to perfect all the levels which unlocks the hidden levels that are extra tough.

Forgot how good this game is - it still looks and sounds pretty spectacular - even on my LCD.
