I played some G-LOC on the Game Gear, just because I was testing it out before sending the console on to Vyothric to be repaired.

I remembered it being brilliant but it seems very bland these days.

Shadowrunner

I finally got around to trying out the long lost Dreamcast game Geist Force today.  After reading the Laird and Ultrapros thoughts on it a while back I thought about just leaving it sealed and keep it as a cool collectable but curiosity got to me. It's buggy for sure but I really like the look of it and it has a ton of potential. Really too bad it was never finished but getting to play around in the unfinished world on this disc is really cool  :111:

Today I have been mostly playing Psycho Pinball on the Megadrive as I picked it up for a quid at the local carboot. A great Pinball simulation which is similar to the Pinball Fantasies etc. and plays really well on the MD. A nice challenge to the tables and good graphics made me happy for just 1 Pound Coin.

Sounds like fun!  :)

Going to the final frontier, gaming...

Shadowrunner

Played quite a few retro games over the weekend.

Blazing Lazers - Turbografx
Megarace, Gex, Starblade - 3DO
SMB 3, Strider - NES
Samurai Shodown 2, Ninja Combat - Neo Geo CD

Good times  :)

I've been playing a lot of Spot Goes To Hollywood for the PS1, and it's surprisingly not bad. It's a whole lot better than Cool Spot, mostly because the game doesn't force you to wander all over the level collecting crap, and the enemies don't take ten hits to kill.

Sadly, the same can't be said for its Genesis version, which to use a technical term, sucks on ice.

Awesome Golf and STUN Runner on the Lynx!

Still have my PSone version, loved this game back in the day (and was originally said to be 'impossible to do on Psone :-) ).

Shadowrunner

Played Cratermaze on the Turbografx today. I'm up to level 50 now, must end soon???
Also played HMS Raptor and Tube SE on the Jag. HMS is very simple but incredibly fun and Tube is very impressive and awesome! That Dr Typo guy should start pressing discs and selling them, great stuff  :)

I've been playing a lot of football games ever since I've figured out how to play it for a podcast. I've been playing Madden '95 and Mutant League Football for the Genesis/Mega Drive. Madden's a bit too much of a simulation for my tastes, while Mutant League lets you bribe and or kill the referee. Also, a bad tackle will send you hurting into the depths of deep space, which I'm pretty sure would be a penalty in another game.

I've also been playing NFL Blitz, which is probably my favorite of the football games so far. If the other team scores a touchdown, don't worry! Just ELBOW DROP THE MOTHERFUCKER.
