I think the deal here (from what I've been reading) is that either Randy's boards don't like the game or his TV refused to play nice with PAL.

In either case the "plow forward" answer is to find a different cart maker for a second opinion.  I know not anyone in the UK.

The other answer is that a completely new game is made which will take some time.

I'd say if you cannot find an enthusiast on your side of the pond try AtariAge or AA member CPUWIZ.  If they find the same weird problem as Hozer then I'll redo the game.

CPUWIZ and Albert could give a flying fig about The Laird from what I hear.  Thankfully.

Here's a freshly compiled PAL and NTSC version.  They're both filled out to 4k just in case being a 2k game was the issue.

I doubt you'll have any issues with CPU and Albert and I have spoken about "the issues" and cleared the air.  There are some individuals who just seem incapable of separating things but that's their problem.
