RETRO GAMES NIGHT – FRI 22nd MAY 2015

Play some classic games, drink beer and have some fun!

Retro Events and Warp Zone have joined forces to create a night to celebrate Retro Gaming.

Come along and play some classic Sega and Nintendo games with friends or simply enjoy shooting fireballs at each other!

Street Fighter 2, Bomberman, Goldeneye, MarioKart and much much more.

Big screen gaming, lots of beer and stalls selling retro - perfect way to spend a Friday night!

£2 entry per person

5pm till Midnight

cheers for the feedback on the poster, i'll let Rick know who designed it.  Should be a good night.  I usually organise a little retro drinks get together every couple of months which is just drinks, so this time we thought why not have games to play as well :-)

Have you got a list of games/systems available to play, and will these be on projectors or just TVs?

There is one projector in the room, then we will be looking to have a range of systems to play too.  Will be megadrive, nes, snes, n64, playstation.  Line of systems and games to be finalised but there will be plenty to play on

MicroMachines (2 turbo tournament or v3) for the padshare would be good (MD/PS1).

If you had 2 x screens, a system link of Wipeout (2097 for preference would be my choice!) as thats such a rare occurrence to see. (PS1)

Its a generation later but Timesplitters (any of them) on PS2, Kung Fu Chaos and Mashed on XBox are also great in 4 player mode.

Gong to sell this event to a few people on friday when we're drunk on a different type of homebrew (booze *hic!*) so we'll see if I can make it with some peeps for you  (-;

Friday went pretty well, had 250 people throughout the night so looking to do more. Hopefully have a few more machines to play on next time too

This clashed with Boltfest on the saturday so no buyers from me.... Will keep an eye on the next date.
