For any Vectrex collectors out there, I thought I'd share this information I got today.

Designed specifically for racing/driving games, the Overdrive Controller is the
first of its kind on the Vectrex console!

Overdrive is released NOW! This is not another pre-order, as these will start shipping
this week! The sooner you order, the sooner it ships. If I start getting quite a few orders,
it could take a number of days to process your order, so send in your order as soon as you
can for fastest service. I will let you know your expected shipping date in your order
confirmation email (allow 12 hours for confirmation).
 
The Overdrive Controller comes complete with a mini metal steering wheel! This
is a 4-button controller that is compatible with several existing games (see website
for compatibility list). I also have two new compatible games planned for 2013,
Purgatory and Night Trucker.

These are "paddle" style controllers and are therefore completely different from
the Vectrosis Spinner. The two are not interchangeable. Spinner games do not work with the Overdrive Controller, and paddle games do not work with Vectrosis.

Yea, I'm getting both controllers and sure, I can write reviews for them.    The Vectrosis has not been released yet as it will come with a game for it (with future titles planned).  The Overdrive is compatible with existing games, so that can get tested and reviewed sooner.
