okay not so much an update..I was doing render tests inside the new adobe photoshop cs6's new 3d render engine and make this scene entirely inside photoshop ,no third party 3d package was used..and I have to say I'm amazed at the life like lighting was done, but rendering took an absolute age to do..something like 50mins, so you'll need lots of ram and a top of the line Nivida  GFX Card at least GTX range in the 520 upwards range.

anyways I rendered the final book cover design..:o

wonder if I can trick the wife like this ;)

cheers fella..no idea of the amount of work involved..lol..it's not even funny, here's one..each spread has a fully designed background plate, that doesn't even get seen in the finished spread from each game, which I could nearly release a full desktop wallpaper package consisting of about 50+ images  :o   something to think about.. lol
