Hello from Brooklyn

Hello all, I've been visiting this site for a bit and reading the forum here and decided to join you fine folks. I've been gaming since I was 6 starting with the atari 2600 and eventually moved onward to the NES. To say I became hooked on gaming is an understatement as I've owned nearly every console released in the US with a few exceptions (still no 3DO or NeoGeo). Juggling a wife, my modern gaming interests and retro game addiction is a slippery slope. 

My fondest gaming memories are probably during the 8 and 16-bit era moving off the NES and into the turbografx 16, SNES and Genesis (Mega Drive). I have a special likeness for the Turbografx, as a kid it seemed like I was the only one I knew who owned one. I have a nearly complete US Turbo collection and dozens of import PCE games.

I also developed a fondness for the Atari Jaguar having wanted to own one back in the day. I never did buy one when it was released in the US but I can still remember the Jaguar TV ads I used to pine over. I remember thinking how awesome Doom and AVP looked back then. Anyway I eventually bought a Jag and Jag CD and have been loving it since.

Anyway that's enough about me! Looking forward to chatting with you all.

Welcome aboard fella, glad you took the pplunge and joined us here. You sound much like me lol, trying to fit a wife, kids, modern gaming, diy and such like around my retro needs is one tough cookie to crack lol.

There are probably more hardcore Jaguar fans here than any other forum and plenty of TurboGrafx fans too like myself!!!
