Hi Everyone,

My name's Ashley and I'm a huge retro games fan. I own a few Sega and Nintendo consoles and am building a huge library of games.
I've just started a blog:

http://retrogamingposts.blogspot.co.uk/

It's a little difficult to try and get followers (or maybe it's because it's only a week old), but I'd love for you to visit, share, comment and follow my blog as it's updated once or twice weekly (usually Fridays).

Hope to see some of you there, and will be posting on the forum here from time to time :-)

All the best
Ashley

Hi Ashley and welcome aboard!  Thanks for sharing the link to your blog.  I will be checking it out.  In the meantime, check out our forum and please participate in any topics of interest.  I see you have a post about the Lynx vs Game Gear vs GameBoy.  That has been a topic of discussion here!  :)

Thanks to everyone for the fast replies! I wasn't expecting any response for a day or two!
I will be posting on the forums from time to time (there's been plenty in the past I've needed to ask).

Thanks all for your support and comments in regards to the blog, it's a work in progress but hoping it'll take off soon!

Would appreciate any followers if anyone has a Google account.

Thanks again
Ash

Hi Ashley and welcome to RVG, a great place full of wonderful people.

Nice blog though I couldn't help feeling you have slightly over-looked the Atari Jaguar with your opening argument about DVD compatibility. True, a great addition for a games console making it multi-functional. I won't go on about that now but, the Jaguar was 2 years ahead of the PS1 and it's CD unit not only had a Virtual Light Machine but was CD-G compatible. How cool was that. I can hear people laughing now but it is an area for discussion (off to post in the Jag section now).

Looking forward to some topics from you :16:
For the record, Alien verses Predator on the Atari Jaguar holds a Guinness World Record!

To remove any awkwardness, I have mesothelioma. I don’t seek sympathy, just acceptance. Thanks

I honestly had no idea it was able to support DVD...is it a 3rd party accessory?
