Exactly the same here, think it's a PS2 controller, just remember buying it dead cheap, putting it on display, next thing i know, everyone who see's it wants 1.

I have a couple of those Namco twisty gcon controllers for the PS1 - haven't really put a lot of time in on them though - should really.

I read recently that Tempest X3 is compatible with them which is interesting - must try that.

You can use the PS1 Densya De Go!'s dedicated train-driving controller on Speed Freaks as the brake handle works as an alternative to a steering wheel and the gear stick changes your view.
It also works with Bust-A-Move 4 with handle rotating your cannon and B firing it.
