I've played this on the CPC and I seem to remember that it was pretty decent, actually.

CPC version was a pleasant surprise, seemed to make good use of Amstrad's colours etc.The sound F.X however...

Steam train building up to a full head of steam    :-)

Speccy, nice, big sprites, but overally visuals did'nt leave me as impressed as i was by CPC version.Sound-Puffing Billy strikes again.

MS DOS (no idea how hardware compared to ST/Amiga), but no sound? and graphically did'nt amaze me.

C64 (which i had at the time), nice backdrops, improved sound FX, but chunky sprites.

ST-Nice music (for the ST!), scrolling seemed decent and nice big sprites.

MAster System:Hmnnn, seemed pretty fast, nicely defined sprites, but the music?OMG, a mad man playing?.

Amiga, other than better than ST music, did'nt do huge amount to impress.

MD/Genesis-Seemed to run at decent speed, visually ok, was'nt struck on the audio though, harsh Sound FX, often drowning out the poor music.

Winner is:Turbo Graphx CD, best audio as i expected and for myself, best looker.

I have the Mega Drive/Genesis version. Now having seen the Turbografx CD version, I would like one.

Yeah I have the MD version too, it's definately emulated in that video because the sound is actually really good but sounds rough there.

Great game in 2-player mode.

Review of the ST and Amiga versions from The One:

I had this game in the Spectrum and in the PCE, it´s an original kind of shoot'em up. :) It's the first time I see the Speccy version in color, I had a B/W tv back then...

I would like to try the MD version too.
Don't be surprised, my broken English is legendary!
