Well, at least they limited their selection to games based on movies.

What they made a Plan 9 from Outer Space game????

I finally tracked down a cheap copy of Space Jam for the Saturn. It really isn't a bad game.

Raiders of the Lost Ark are you kidding me????  It used two joysticks on the Atari 2600. That was cutting edge back in the 1980's

I saw that also. Ghostbusters had good graphics for a 2600 game. Played it more on the C64.

I had the Spectrum and Atari 2600 versions as a kid and loved both of them, they did a great job with the 2600 port.

I went into this, knowing it was done by Total Wank, sorry, Film! magazine and also knowing how Empire had at the time of review slagged N64 Goldeneye off for being a Doom clone, made it as far as no.30 before leaving site having witnessed soo much fail.

They don't list formats, so looking at something like Top Gun, Robocop or Hunt for Red October, i'm thinking, there's been so many games based on these films on countless home formats, micro+console over the years, you'd have hoped they'd say which format they were banging on about, but no, that'd require a degree of jurnolism....

I do thank them for leaving Attack of the Killer Tomatoes alone! Maybe other peolpe enjoy that game as well.

That is what annoyed me the most!

For example: Dick Tracy on the Mega Drive is excellent while the NES version is gash, Robocop on 8-bit home computers is ace and Hudson Hawk on the ST/Amiga is really good too.

Even looking at the 8 Bit range alone:Top Gun on C64/Speccy very different to the NES game, C64 Hunt For Red October, very different to NES game (if memory serves), Robocop on Speccy 128, better than C64, very different kettle of fish to Nes game.

Just reeks of a filler article and yet again clear example of why 'features' such as these are such a poor thing to include, never researched, logic goes up the swanny, just awful.

You have to wonder what the people who make these lists are thinking.  It's almost as if they intentionally make bad lists just to get people's attention.

Used to be to get letters in the mailbag pages, these days it's site traffic.

I have yet to see a internet list like this that didn't suck.

I just wish they would actually do some research for once before writing one of these  :102:

Yep! I wish they also would give the age of the person writing the list and if they ever played any of the games they are picking apart.
