retro mag help..

i grew up in the UK but live in Holland at the moment.

I used to read loads of computer games magazines. There was one in particular that had development teams look for a week or so at re-inventing / updating [already] old games.

For example they had the Bitmap Brothers look into re-inventing Atari's Tempest!

Can anyone remember what mag did that?

That'll be ACE magazine (Advanced Computer ent.) was looking at the VERY article only yesterday. 🙂

Steve Kelly and Dan Malone (Tempest was Steve's personal fav.game of all time), he wrote a 2D version of Tempest for the ZX81, published by Mikrogen.
