Would be a cool video to do for the RVG channel. It doesn't matter that you don't have loads of games. It would more about giving your intial thoughts on the system and taking a closer look at it. Also dispelling some of the myths about the PAL TG, before I got mine I heard that it was RF only (when in fact you have to plug in a modulator to use RF), that it had massive borders on the picture (when it has none), that all the games ran really slow on it (untrue), most of the games had graphics glitches because they were meant for NTSC (untrue) and that it had really bad build quality (also bollocks).

So if in the video you could address all those points then that would be great and might educate a few idiots out there.

On SOME games I do sometimes see a little sprite flicker (the only time I've noticed it more than once is at the start of Ninja Spirit during the intro with the wolf but I haven't noticed it anywhere else so far and its barely noticeable) or whatever you call it but its certainly not on the level that happened on the Master System for example and is certainly not a massive issue that effects my enjoyment. But yeah I'm definitely tempted to make something about it

Yes but sprite flicker would not be a fault of the PAL TurboGrafx, its a fault of the system in general. The TG/PCE can actually display more sprites than both the MD and SNES, which is why it is so good at shooters.

Definately, it was actually 25 years old this year as the PC Engine came out in Japan in 1987!!!!

wow... yeah actually last night I remember seeing on Dragon Spirit that it was from 1987 but I thought that just meant it was copyrighted that year not necessarily released that year

I need to try and find a way to do a review of the system so as it works well with the camera. I might use the Ipad to help me with it as it has a front and back camera and can stand up without me holding it lol... gonna have a brainstorm about how to do it this weekend I reckon
