for those you who know who this is, he was the man behind Probe Software and was a huge part of the 8-bit and 16-bit computer era and was responsible for many great games, Fergus McGovern has passed away suddenly and you can read more about Fergus here : http://www.theguardian.com/technology/2 ... s.mcgovern

R.I.P. Mr.McGoven, you and your company brought many people great enjoyment and memories, which will not be forgotten.

Details are sketchy at the moment, but I'm sure more will be made clear in the next day or so. Information source : https://www.facebook.com/OceanSoftwareLtd/posts/503916659733676:0

R.I.P. Fergus , enjoyed your great interview From Bedroom to Billionaires and loved the games that came from Probe Software. :(
Firstly this year, from Atari UK 's Les Player, then the great Dave Needle and now Fergus McGovern, very sad news indeed.
