I've got some requests regarding a possible portable edition of the VCS and the simple idear is to use a standard Atari Junior housing including existing PCB (of course stripped to get more space) to create such device.

Attached a mockup picture how it would looks like. Price tag: ~199 EUR.

Features:
- stereo/surround via ear jack/TV
- crystal clear TFT display (could be turned off for use with TV)
- battery support (no charger included)
- integrated joypad
- pause function (push reset button soft: pause, push hard: reset)
- battery indicator within the power switch
- power supply included

And the best: you are able to use this device also with your normal TV-screen and able to plugin your standard joysticks if required. To build this device I will use brand new Atari 2600 Junior Clones with 32 built in games as the PCB is highly optimized and provide enough room for the enhancements.

What are you thinking about? Let me know your opinion.
