Hey gang... so I've been trying to find some more roms for my FPse for droid which is the emulator for the playstation 1. I've been receiving a lot of app updates to FPse over the market this week and thought I'd try it out again. I've got the games listed below working quite nicely so far:

Broken Sword Shadow Of The Templars
Castlevania Symphony Of The Night
Final Fantasy Origins
Medievil
Megaman x5
Metal Slug
Oddworld Abe's Oddysee
Crash Bandicoot
Wild 9

Now I know from experience that not all roms are born equal, and I have struggled to find working ones for the FPse on a regular basis so for those of you struggling PM me and I'll send you links to the most reliable ROM sites I've come across

Does anyone know of any other games that work well on FPse?? I have seen a list of compatible titles but its definitely not set in stone because it says I shouldn't be able to run SOTN but I can lol

be interested to hear if anyone else emulates on an android device and if so what games and what system

I do use emulators on my Android devices but I do Atari emulators (2600, Lynx).  No experience with FPse, sorry.

same here. I use MD Emu and Snes on mine, I never bother with a PSX one as the iso's where allot of the time too big and pointless to be sticking on a a memory stick for about maybe 5 - 10 games..for PSX emulation, PSP can't be beat and would only cost you a few quid to land yourself one with a CFW and play them the way their where intended to be played..on a PSP :)

yeah I was unsure about doing PS1 emulation on my phone but having a 16gb SD card in my phone means I can have at least 10 games on it at any one time, but I've just decided that when I get home i will try a pc emulator for PSX, I really wanna see some of the RPG's such as Chrono Cross and Parasite Eve as well as Castlevania SOTN and I miss playing games like Armored Core and Ghost In The Shell but I doubt they would work well on a phone. So I'm gonna try the PC PSX Emulator tonight, I have a program that allows me to map controls to my xbox 360 controller and my PC is a BEAST so it will run them all perfectly

I didn't know there was an emulator for Lynx is that any good?

the FPse emulation is actually really good on my phone it just doesn't support all the better games on the PS1

yes the Lynx Emu is excellent and completely free..unlike the Atari ST one, 🙂 , seriously you'll pick one up for buttons now. and you simply drop the eboot into the Roms folder on your PSP memory stick..

yeah, I'm not fussed about the handheld part I had just seen the Playstation emulator on my phone market place one time for about 50p and thought I'd try it. If any games won't work on the phone I will simply bang them onto my PC and run via that... can't really afford to start getting into something like the PSP, I'd probably quite enjoy it and end up buying loads of games lol

Yeah the PSP has some good games for sure. I just discovered a couple weeks ago that there are Turbo Grafx games on the PS store that you can download onto it. I got Alien Crush, Victory Run, and Bonks Adventure for $5 each. Woops maybe I shouldn't have told you that considering you have been looking for one of those systems lol.  Sorry for the added temptation  :P

well I'm trying out the PC version of PSX Emulation tonight as I have an xbox 360 wireless controller and cross fire wireless receiver and a program that allows me to map any control to the pad think I will have some fun tonight! I am still interested to know if anyone is emulating anything else on smart phone, I can't wait to get a new handset in the spring, hopefully be able to handle some better games too
