well for me, I have to agree with you, it's a complete travesty the Predator has not gotten any decent games for such a worthy character, especially on home computers and Consoles.

The Megadrive had one though "Predator 2" was actually very good little game, and followed the movie closely and it had plenty of action , blood and guts too, so well worth checking it out.

But the best ones where on the PC. with Alien vs. Predator and Aliens vs. Predator 2 , are the closest thing in a game-play set you'll get to been a predator and are both fantastic games, so good is the second one, that it was actually ported by the Xbox 1 scene to the Xbox1!, and most recently Aliens Vs. Predator 3 was released for the PS3 and Xbox360 about year and half ago now, I loved to bits and thought was superb, although many people didn't..and proves it again to me, people haven't a fucking clue what a good game is..this is a must have and would probably cost no more than a bag of pork scratchings 🙁

yes.. AVP on the xbox360 was a sequel to the 2002 PC hit, it just took Rebellion 8 years to do it , and i won't mind, the first 2 games where brilliant and highly strange to why they didn't get a Xbox 1 and Ps2 licensed port,  they where more than capable more so than the PC's back then, very weird, and proves even companies don't know how to market something of a goldmine like this?

If you go to the IOS / Android games thread Trek posted a Predator game there. I downloaded it but haven't tried it yet. Looks pretty cool though and it's got good reviews.

yes I was aware of the Predator 2 for MD game as I mentioned I just thought it wierd that nothing more of quality has been done in the modern era other than one botched effort on the original xbox. its a massive franchise that, if done right, could spawn some AWESOME games

I never did get very far with it, but the C64 version of Predator was fun and had a great atmosphere.  I remember being thrilled, it didn't take much in '88, when the screen changed to the Predator view and his triangular target tracked Dutch across the screen.  Exciting stuff indeed!

Rebellion's Windows'95 AVP, to this day, for myself remains THE best game based on the Aliens/Predator universe, Monolith's follow up was'nt bad, but lacked the Alien behaviour A.I Rebellion nailed in AVP (and promoptly ruined in the PC/PS3/360 game of late-you should NOT be able to melee an Alien so it lets go of you fer fecks sake), there was also the exp.pack on PC, Prim.hunt-still have all the PC AVP games (despite no PC any more).

PSP AVP? put together in matter of weeks...and shows!.

Xbox/PS2 had 2 Predator games, 1 mentioned by others, which was ruined by god awful camera and an RTS...AVP:Extinction, got average reviews, but i rather enjoyed.

There was also the ST/Amiga Op.Wolf type affair by Imageworks?  (and C64?)-Never played but looked o.k..

Sadly, i've yet to read a decent Predator Graphic Novel either, be it a stand alone tale or a VS...(Batman, Judge Dredd, Tarzan At The Earths Core! or the even dafter, Aliens Vs Predator Vs Terminator).

so does anyone remember seeing adverts in the late 90's of an Alien game that was slated for Saturn and Playstation as well as CD Rom?? It was supposed to be Alien Resurection. I remember the adverts VIVIDLY. They were on the videos I got in a special edition VHS box set (I couldn't afford DVD at the time) and the set only had Aliens 1-3 and a special promo tape of Rssurection... does anyone remember if that actually came out on ANY platform? It actually looked really good!
