After being released in Japan almost a year ago Sony is finally bringing this to other parts of the world. NA gets it in a few days and Europe next month. The name of this was PS Vita TV originally, and that's still the name in Japan, but for the rest of the world they dropped the word Vita. Considering how poor Vita sales are outside of Japan I can understand why they did this, but the functionality is still the same regardless.

Anybody planning on buying one? I think I will, but I'm not sure if I'll buy it as soon as next week. I've had PS Plus since day one, and the Vita as well, which means I probably have close to 50 digital games that I can play on this as soon as I get it. Not to mention physical Vita games that can be played on the big screen!

Here's a list of all games at launch https://support.us.playstation.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/5376/~/games-available-on-playstation-tv

For those with a PS4, you can also use this to stream games to other TV's in your house. It can also be used as a media streaming device for Netflix and other apps so it's pretty versatile, and is selling for $99.99, €99.99, £84.99.
