I downloaded this today on XBLA and it is really amazing. Farsight Studios have really captured the look, feel and sound of the original tables. The controls and ball physics are fantastic and it looks ultra realistic on a big HD telly. Highly recommended for any Pinball fans. I believe it is also available on PSN, IOS and Android.

I got this last week on PS3 and have been playing it a lot. I was actually a little disappointed compared to their Williams Hall of Fame retail disc. This $10 download only has 4 tables... one was already in the Williams HoF and one is a high-def update of a table from last gen's Gottlieb HoF retail disc. So, this pack really only has two new tables. Theatre of Magic and Ripley's Believe It or Not are both great tables, but Williams HoF is a budget title now and I'd definitely recommend getting that disc over this download.

Pinball Arcade is going to add two tables of DLC every month though. Next month is Medieval Madness (also on Williams HoF) and Bride of Pinbot. If they keep adding tables  and eventually release a discounted bundle it'll be a much better value for casual players.

It's not as realistic, but I prefer Zen Pinball/Marvel Pinball/Pinball FX for current gen video pinball. The gameplay is much faster and they use a lot of neat special effects. Some really well designed tables/goals... all original... with superheroes. :) Their Avengers pack of four DLC tables is coming out next month.

I think i'll be getting this as soon as i get paid. I wonder if they will be doing any 80's retro tables such as Black Knight or Jungle Lord?

Black Knight is on the Williams HoF disc for all platforms.

Williams HoF is from the same developer and includes: Black Knight, Firepower, Funhouse, Gorgar, Pinbot, Space Shuttle, Taxi, Whirlwind, Jive Time, Sorcerer, Medieval Madness, No Good Gofers, and Tales of Arabian Nights. The last 3 are only on the PS3/360 versions so that's probably why they're re-releasing those in Pinball Arcade?

Haven't seen any mention of Jungle Lord as DLC yet, but they're planning to release packs of two tables/month for as long as people are buying. They've announced that Monster Bash, Cirqus Voltaire, and Attack from Mars will be available for Pinball Arcade within the next six months. Hopefully the two table packs won't always bundle something new with something that was on their retail releases...

I take it the Hall of Fame disc was a US release only?

Sorry, looks like it was called 'Williams Pinball Classics' outside of the US. It was released for EU last June... is it available in the UK??

It should be the same as the US release.... 13 tables. (one of them is also in Pinball Arcade)
