I hope the Playstation 2 is still modern. I bought this $12 new. Not a good deal but I like pirate games.
It is set during the American Civil War and it is made by Atari.

Spring Clearance and St Patrick's Day sales in the US this week. Lots of $5-$15 games. 
I spent around $100 and got:
PS3 - XCom, Prototype 2, Red Dead Redemption GotY (w/Undead Nightmare), Binary Domain, Yakuza Dead Souls, Lollipop Chainsaw, Ace Combat Assault Horizon
Wii - DKC Returns

I bought Binary Domain not long ago too for pretty cheap. If you don't own a 360 and haven't played any of the Gears of War games you'll probably really enjoy it. For me it was just so similar to the Gears games that it didn't hold my attention for too long.

I don't have a 360, and have never played a Gears of War game. Not sure if it'll hold my interest but giving it a shot as a $10 impulse buy.

so I bought this recently on the cheap being a fan of the original and wanting to get into the comic I felt I had to buy the sequel... it didn't get fantastic reviews mostly it was slated for its short length especially when compared to the original but so far I'm loving every minute of it!
can't wait for the next one and I really need to get some graphic novels about the Darkness as well

I have purchased Starcraft and been given XCOM both on PC of late. Not played the latter yet but Starcraft is epic in every way.

Very much enjoyed this on PS3, not as good as original, but new developer and all that....
Big fan of the graphic novels, but i'd personally stay clear of the cross-over stuff (Darkness Vs Aliens or Vs Hulk etc), it just does'nt really work.
