Not purchases as such, but mate sent me:

'Killer 7' and 'Makken Shao-Demon Sword' on PS2 (enjoyed Makken X on DC).

Never knew there was a sequel to Makken X. I always liked the DC game too, let us know what it's like after you play it a bit  :)

Not a sequel, but a REMAKE.

Game is now a 3rd person affair, graphically it's rough compared to DC original (blocky characters with awful animation and poor textures-PS2's limited video Ram rearing it's ugly head again here), on the flipside:

Difficulty been toned down, you can start on a beginner level, difficulty wise, there's save points with the levels, you can carry health items and use them as/when you want.

Also game seems to have taken on an RPG element, as you build up the characters you've sight jacked.

Not sure quite what to make of it, whilst the difficulty changes are very welcome, quite taken aback by how rough game looks.

At this stage? finding it more of a curio rather than a must play.

Just looked this game up and I see it was never released in North America so I guess that's why I never heard of it. Oh well, after reading your thoughts it doesn't sound like I'm missing too much other then the toned down difficulty which would be nice.

Crossbow Training really is a superb game. Loads of excellent levels with a different variety of control. The only downside was that it just needed a bit more.

Got a crap load of Wii games today as they were clearing them out in a local Crack Converters:

Namco Museum Remix
Disaster Day Of Crisis
Far Cy Vengeance
Splinter Cell Double Agent
Need For Speed Carbon
Need For Speed Pro Street
Boom Blox
Battalion Wars 2

I also picked up these 2 games off eBay as they were on a £10 BIN (for both) and still sealed!

House Of The Dead 2&3
Lego Indiana Jones

Wii mania! Namco Museum Remix includes the fun Pac n Roll game from the DS. It's a little hard to control, but still a decent Pac-man themed/Marble Madness style game. Galaga Remix is a simple on-rails light gun game. Remix also includes the first home release of Pac & Pal in its virtual arcade. Remix is a decent compilation of old and new... don't know why they bothered releasing the 'Megamix' follow-up though.

A couple of 'upgrade' purchases for me over the weekend:
- Bought Bit.Trip Complete for the Wii at $10. Already had all of the Bit.Trip games as Wiiware downloads, but the Bit.Trip Complete retail release includes new challenge levels and some bonus material.
- Bought Patapon 2 for PSP at $5. Already had the download voucher retail release from a previous clearance sale, but happy to find the cheap upgrade to the UMD version.

Nice! A couple of bargains there. Rage is the prettiest game I have played on the XBox 360, so it's worth that for the eye-candy alone. Deus Ex is a really good game and you can have lots of fun with it if you just don't expect it to be as good as the original.
