this may seem to be old news to some, but if you haven't heard about it, a Russian developer "Game Factory Interactive" acquired the rights from Codemasters sometime ago to produce a new Cannon Fodder product for gamers of the 21st century, this was a classic based tactical arcade shooter originally created by Sensible Software back in 1993 for the Commodore Amiga Platform and ported to 16-bit consoles like the Mega Drive and SNES and the Atari Jaguar, 3DO and Gameboy colour, this game was brilliant, had great graphics, music and sfx, accompanied with great humor of downed solders suffering awaiting you to finish them off with a round from your machine gun.

Cannon Fodder even went on to have a sequel made, with the amazingly and clever title of "Cannon Fodder 2" set in a more futuristic setting back in 1994, but had lost some charm of the Original Cannon Fodder , it just didn't seem as good..but still a worthy sequel. So some time after Sensible Software closed shop, CodeMasters acquired the right to product a new Cannon Fodder game, but nothing ever came of it, until 2010 "Game Factory Interactive" came along, and now have released it into the wild with all new 3d engine and brand new updated graphics, sound and music.

Price at €25.99 / £19.99 , i was really impressed with this new remake so much I purchased it myself, and if you are a big fan of Cannon Fodder, you will love this, my only complain with it was the amount of loading between mission is very long, and in some cases 2mins plus, and the music was simply not or inspiring from the original master piece by Richard Joseph, but in a nut shell this is an epic little game and would highly recommend it
