Has anyone got an Apple watch, thoughts ?

Torn on whether to get one or not. If this watch came out before smartphones i would be in love with it bigtime, had a few calculator/game watches back in the day. Since phones i havent worn a watch for 15 years

My wifes got one so i've been borrowing it to justify to myself whether i should get one. They are good just i've got everything on my phone. It would be good for fitness stuff but you have to have your phone with you in your pocket so its a bit weird.

Apparently the iwatch 2 is coming out maybe june/sept and it'll be much more 'standalone' so it doesnt rely on the phone, problem is be interesting to see if you need a new 'contract' or companies will tie it into your existing phone contract.

Games are pretty poor on the watch, some of the apps are pretty cool. Like i say this would be an amazing thing back in the mid 90's being able to view photos/apps/calls etc if this was out.

After trying one for a few days one morning i think 'nah i wouldnt use it much because of my phone' but then the next day its cool just glancing at it for emails/notifications etc and its pretty useful.

Half of it is that i love gadgets and i'm looking for a new one perhaps!
