Hello all.

We re new to the forums, been lurking for a while and decided to join!

There are two people who will be using this account, and we try to post who it is speaking, so let us take the time to introduce the both of us....

AJ (the male half of this relationship) grew up on a healthy dose of gaming consoles, such as but not limited to - NES, SNES, Mega Drive, Master System, Gameboy (Original, pocket and colour) Atari, C64, N64, Playstation 1, Playstation 2, Dreamcast, Game Gear and many more.

While all her friends played on their Amigas, Megadrives and Gameboys, Ruth (The female Half of the relationship) was stuck with a Rowtron Television System from the 70's and a PC (before they were cool). Her first taste of 'modern gaming' was with the Gameboy Pocket which she saved up for 6 months to buy out of her own money, only for the Colour to come out a couple of months later.

With the background AJ had, he found it shocking that Ruth didnt play games.... Ruth on the other hand found it hard to believe AJ didn't read books (so completely different upbringings)

We are both from London England, so we are used to fantastic summers and dry autumns (Anyone from England will know im lying here....)

AJ's Hobbies include - Playing games, complaining games are broken when he loses, complaining ruth cheats when she wins, and blaming controllers and TV's for his failures, He also loves MMA (and thats all really... very bland man indeed)

Ruth's Hobbies include - Playing games, strange hair colours, 40's/50's pin ups / pin up style, Anything to do with turquoise, Monkeys, Dinosaurs, Storm Troopers and drinking Tea (Like a true brit)

Thats all we can think of for now, hopefully you will see us around here ALOT more often.

We mainly did it for us to look back on, as we have some fun times playing games together, and are currently working our way through a book called "1001 Video Games You Must Play Before You Die" which I have to admit is fun! and its going to be long too....
