Odynexus, Journey to Ithaca

Odynexus is a brand new shoot'em up for the Atari Lynx, featuring fantastic pixelart, huge bosses, swarm of terrific ennemies and frenetic arcade action!

You are Odynexus, the legendary space warrior who defeated the Electrogods and conquered Trox, their capital city. Now after all these years, the time has finally come to fly back to Itanika, your home, and to Penelope, your wife. But the Electrogods are not dead yet... Irritated by this unexpected defeat, they are now summoning their most powerful machines... the Mechatitans!!!

The game was originally submitted at Silly Venture 2019, where it placed third in the Atari Lynx competition. The prototype has been reworked into a fully polished game, that will get a physical release later this year (yes in 2020!)

In the meantime the demo version of the game has been made available for free! The demo features:

• The first 2 levels
• Multiple enemies and giant bosses
• Huge pixelart world
