For many of us budget games for the home computers were what we spent our pocket money on every week.
We all had our favourite publishers that we looked out for so who was yours?
Obviously these are only labels that released original games not the re-release labels like Hit Squad, Kixx and Blue Ribbon.
Damn tough call there.
Loved Firebird, but then there was Mastertronic (espically the M.A.D Range), but what about Zepplin? (Zybex, Draconus etc).
Budget range games were an eseential part of my time as both an Atari 800 XL and C64 owner.
Very easy based on pure numbers for me. I would say 60% of my Speccy games are Mastertronic games
Has to be Codemasters for me, loads of blind buys purely because of them, Dizzy, simulator series all good games on the ole Speccy.

Codemasters was a very close second that's for sure. Some amazing games.

They were my first choice but I would have had Mastertronic in 2nd and Silverbird in 3rd
