Pac-Mania

Consoles

Namco's brilliant Pac-Mania game was the first one to take Pac-Man into the 3rd dimension, albeit from an isometric view. As well as being an incredibly playable game it was also known for having some superb music. In this thread we are taking a look at the soundtrack from the console versions of the game. Only one question remains, which one is the best?

I voted for the GBA. I liked its rendition of the theme more.  The Jaguar has the best music, though, but it is not the theme for the game.

I voted like Trek for GBA version..the rest where terrible renditions of the original..the Megadrive one sounded like a drunk trumpet player down hard on his luck, the Jaguar one..shouldn't of been included at all..that was more a parody ..this is Pacmania music..not some protracker mod the designer though he'd use..lol.

but still a good collection of tunes here..but ultimately the crown goes to the Gameboy Advance.

I use an arcade stick when playing the Nes version. For me it is the overall feel of the game experience. I do have Pac-Mania for the Genesis/Mega Drive and think if I had an arcade stick then I would have made that my choice.

I only put the Jaguar version in to make up the numbers really and let people see it as its a cool conversion that I wish the developer would actually finish!!!!

It is a cool conversion indeed!  Would be nice if the developer completed it and added the actual game music.  :)
