The full moon tonight, 10-August-2014 has appeared larger and brighter than any other full moon this year. This supermoon is (or has been, depending on when you read this) visible everywhere in the world. August's full moon rises when the natural satellite is at perigee - the closest point to Earth in its orbit. I decided to take some pictures of this supermoon and turns out my camera did a great job!
