Zoo is a new TV series based on a book of the same title by James Patterson and Michael Ledwidge.  The book is a science fiction thriller where animals are viciously attacking humans in ways that are unusual.  The show, so far, has been pretty good, though I'm not sure of how it compares to the book.  I'm guessing it will follow closely as this is more than just a 2-hour movie.  The first season is 13 episodes and stars James Wolk. 

PLOT
Violent animal attacks upon humans are occurring all over the world. Jackson Oz, an American zoologist who offers safaris in Africa, begins to notice the animals' strange behavior and takes it upon himself to solve the reason why before these attacks become more coordinated and ferocious.
