I've noted a couple retro arcade purchases in the 'Latest Retro Purchases' thread before, but figured a new thread in this subforum would be more appropriate... esp for games that are somewhere between retro and modern.

So... I bought a small lot of three arcade carts:
- KoF XI for the Atomiswave
- Neo Geo Battle Coliseum for the Atomiswave
- DoDonPachi 2: Bee Storm for the IGS PGM

Fight! Fight! Shmup!

Printed some inserts for my Atomiswave collection and took a couple pics. The carts fit nicely into EA wide spine cases for the Genesis/MD and there are fan-made inserts available for download.

Thanks! Have to clarify that most of my Atomiswave carts are bootlegs. A few of the games sell for $$$ as originals, and I only bought into the platform after the $30 Chinese knock-offs appeared. 🙂

It's sad that Dreamcast was already dead at retail or the Atomiswave library would have been easy ports. Some of the games made it to PS2 or xbox, and there's nothing there that would have topped the sales charts, but the Atomiswave is a neat piece of Sega history with some decent games that show what 'might have been' for Dreamcast releases from 2003-2006.
