I am sure that when we all fire up MAME we always head for the same games, so what are some obscure ones that are out there that you recommend other people should try?

Here is a good one to start with:

Not sure how obscure it actually is but I rarely hear it mention. Tumblepop, an ace little single screen platformer.

You just copy and paste the URL and it embeds itself (just make it's HTTP and not HTTPS)

I totally agree about I, Robot - total classic!

I don't know if it's one of the 'best', but I really like Undercover Cops. (play the Alpha Renewal version of the ROMs to have all the special moves from the JPN release)

Undercover Cops is pretty decent, there are so many hidden gems like this available on MAME

This one is not massively obscure but it was never converted to any home formats sadly and you rarely here it talked about, shame because it's a cracking game:

It even uses the iconic Superman music!Â That's awesome!Â I wonder why it wasn't ported to a home system.Â This looks like it would have worked on the Lynx and the Jaguar just fine.

Licensing issues I guess, well worth firing up on MAME!
