Sometimes you may want another member to reply to your post without quoting something they have already posted. That's called a "Mention".
Start with the @ Symbol and type the rest of their username directly behind it. As you do that a menu will pop up so you can select the member.

Mentions are links that show in your User CP at the top of the page. If you click on one, it will take you to that page.
