🚀 THE RUBBER-KEYED WONDER HAS SMASHED IT!
Now that’s what you call a successful Kickstarter!
The Rubber-Keyed Wonder: The Sinclair ZX Spectrum Story has absolutely smashed its original £30,000 target, going on to raise over £100,000, with more than 1,500 backers getting behind the project!
Written by renowned retro gaming historian Kim Justice, the book celebrates the history, games, people and legacy of one of Britain’s most iconic home computers.
It’s fantastic to see this level of enthusiasm for the humble ZX Spectrum, a machine that introduced so many of us to gaming, programming and a lifelong love of computers.
From rubber keys and cassette loading screens to bedroom coders and legendary games, the Spectrum’s story clearly still means a lot to people.
A huge congratulations to everyone involved in bringing this project together, and to the community that helped make it such a success.
The ZX Spectrum isn’t just part of gaming history. It’s still very much alive in the hearts of its fans! ❤️
